The Green European Foundation is organising together with the Flemish Green think-tank Oikos a congress on sustainable urban mobility in Brussels.
We are still stuck in a traditional mindset when it comes to mobility: the increasing car and truck traffic determine policy, which then inevitably leads to more infrastructure for road traffic being built. However, many progressive cities have since shown that thinking and acting differently in the area of mobility is possible. The congress "Moving Minds - After The Car" aims at highlighting these good examples and at using imagination to reflect upon a new paradigm of mobility.
