| Was? | On behalf of eco-union we are pleased to invite you to attend the Global Eco Forum 2013, Euro-Mediterranean multi-stakeholders forum on sustainability to be held in Barcelona on October 22 this year in La Pedrera, Gaudi´s beautiful Building. This international event celebrates its 6th edition and is aimed at civil society as a whole, as well as NGOs, policy makers, businesses and researchers.
 This sixth edition will also extend the debate on the critical topics of Green Jobs creation and Natural Resources Management as we are celebrating the year of International Water Cooperation and aim to reduce urgently the dramatic unemployment rate, in particular among the youth.
The topics to be discussed will focus on new economic systems that value and better protect the environment in the Mediterranean, with job creation and social development, green skills, eco-entrepreneurship, circular economy, collaboration between NGOs and businesses, sustainable European agriculture and green cities. Moreover, we are also delighted to announce that we will celebrate the first edition of the Andalucía Eco Forum in Malaga end of the year, with a special focus on sustainable tourism. Together with the Green Economy Dialogue held previously in Marseille and the coming Green Finance Debate in Tunis, those interconnected events are promoting a change of era and not just an era of change. Global Eco Forum is a project created and designed by eco-union, a non-profit association located in Spain and France that works to create agents of change among the different sectors of society, public administration, economic and social players to catalyze the transition towards sustainability.
