(Kongress)
Wann? 04.10.2012 - 06.10.2012
Wo? D-10 Berlin, Audimax at the main building of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Unter den Linden 6 AND Paul-Loebe-Haus, Konrad-Adenauer-Str.1
Was? The 5th International CSR-Conference at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin is organized and hosted by the Institute of Management. The 600+ participants include representatives from science, business, politics and governmental and non-governmental organizations. The conference addresses the needs of both practitioners and academics.

The topic of this year's conference "The Future of CSR" reflects the on-going debate of the role and impact of CSR. Many standards, types of certification, monitoring programs, and demands for reporting exist, which has resulted in a degree of confusion and the need for consolidation as to the meaning of CSR.
The topics to be discussed range widely within the general field of CSR but will focus particularly on Rio+20, the new European CSR policy, measuring CSR, voluntary vs. obligatory standards and reporting, the cross-cultural and transnational aspects of CSR, internal management processes, and responsible leadership and management education.

Keynote speakers include: Archie Carroll (University of Georgia), Robert Eccles (author of Integrated Reporting), R. Edward Freeman ("father" of stakeholder theory, University of Virginia) Björn Stigson (Former President of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development), Sandra Waddock (Boston College), and Simon Zadek (Founder of AccountAbility).
